Organic carbon concentrations of seabed sediments in the North Sea and Skagerrak

Definition: The dataset provides an overview of organic carbon concentrations in the upper ten centimetres of seabed sediments in the North Sea and Skagerrak. Results are quantitative and were estimated with spatial modelling methods. Uncertainties of the estimates are provided as well.

Usage

This data set may be used as a basis for decision making about high-level seabed use and environmental planning, habitat mapping, vulnerability analysis, impact analysis in connection with installations on the seabed etc.
