Bedrock, scale 1:250,000

Dataset

Definition: The bedrock data shows the prevalence of rocks and rock structures on the earth's surface.\\n \\nThe data in Berggrunn N250/Bedrock 1:250.000 is mainly based on the nationwide, printed bedrock geological map series at a scale of 1: 250,000. The entire data set is later harmonized across map sheet boundaries and updated with newer available map data.\\n \\nThe data set provides information on the geological properties of the rocks and structures (including main rock type, age of formation (genesis) and tectonic main division for rock surfaces and structure names and kinematic type for structures).
