Fishing ports

Parliament is allocating funding in the governmental budget for the Norwegian Coastal Administration to make investments in governmental fishing ports. Fishing ports are undergoing development in accordance with the criteria and processes referred to in White Paper no. 46 (1999-2000) National Transport Plan 2002-2011, White Paper no. 46 (1996-97) Ports and infrastructure for shipping, and White Paper no. 44 (1992-93) About fishing port policy. New facilities are being assessed for funding as a consequence of priorities in the Norwegian Coastal Administration's Action Programme, devised on the basis of the National Transport Plan process.
