Trigonometric points – triangulation points

Status: Submitted

Definition: Triangulation points are trigonometric points specified in EUREF89 with directional and distance measurement. Triangulation points are less accurate than **Stamnett** and **Landsnett** points and are not recommended where there are stringent accuracy requirements. Triangulation points can also be found in areas far away from roads. Many of the triangulation points in the lowlands are unsuitable for GNSS surveying.
